Why We Like ViralTag Social Sharing Tool
We found this great social sharing tool called ViralTag and just love it. It helps us get more work done in a lot less time. Because we have so many blogging friends we decided to share what we have learned about this great tool for bloggers.
So if you don't already know, having the right social sharing tool for your work flow is really important. Some would even say it's critical to your success as a blogger or in any online venture these days. That seems like a really over the top statement, I know. But what would it be worth to you to NOT have to remember to run over to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram 5 times a day and share stuff?
Right? That got you to perk your ears up, didn't it?
Now as we've said, we just started using this tool called ViralTag, (you can try it for yourself for FREE right here) so these are our preliminary findings. We plan to give it a run for it's money over the next few months and will do a follow up post at that time to tell you if things played out the way we hoped they would.

What we like...
The Bulk Scheduler Is AMAZING! Honestly, this tool alone makes ViralTag worth the price. We can't say enough wonderful things about the bulk scheduling feature.
The bulk scheduler lets you...
The image directly below shows how you can select/highlight items to be scheduled. Below that you'll see how each image can be sent to the same account or board OR you can send each image to a different location then schedule them all with one click. Very flexible.

The bulk scheduler lets you...
- Select all the images on a page
- Select specific images on a page
- Add all the images to your queues
- Schedule all the images to drip out to any of your accounts with a specific interval between postings
- Schedule images to drip out to your Pinterest board groups with a specific interval between postings

Another great thing the bulk scheduler does is trouble shoot your submissions. If there's a problem, such as a missing url or description it lets you know. All you have to do is scroll thru them and find the Highlighted post. Yep, ViralTag HIGHLIGHTS THE PROBLEM POST FOR YOU by circling it in red. Easy to fix now.
Photo Editing WITHIN ViralTag...
You can easily crop, resize, touch up or add text to your images right inside ViralTag and it works GREAT. The photo editing tools even give you the preffered dimensions for your photos for each social sharing site with the click of a button. This makes it easy and fast to create a different version of each photo optimized for each site you want to share it on. You can even add text branding and lots of other cool stuff.

Canva Integration... This is VERY HELPFUL when you need/want to do more than the above tool can do. And saves us tons of time. If you do any marketing online at all you know how important it is to BRAND YOUR PHOTOS! Being able to access Canva right from inside ViralTag saves us so much time. No more hopping from one site/tool to another. You don't have to download, upload, download and upload a photo to brand or alter it to suit your current needs. Just upload the photo from your computer right into ViralTag, make your edits and share it out! Huge Timesaver!
UNLIMITED ITEMS IN THE QUEUE... Yes, you read that right. ViralTag lets you have unlimited items in your queues. If you've looked at any of the other tools of this nature you'll know how unheard of this is. Buffer, for example, only allows 100 items in the queue with their "Awesome" plan, which seems like a lot when you first start using such a tool but will quickly become inadequate. And we never could figure out how the bulk scheduling worked with Buffer.
Interval Scheduling... This ROCKS! We mentioned this a bit above when we told you about the bulk scheduler. But it's so cool we wanted to be sure you understood how this will help you. What this feature allows you to do is select a number of items to send out to your social streams and instead of adding them to your queue to drip them out at a set time start sending them out at a specific hourly interval. For example, if you are having a sale starting on a specific date you can create your announcements and send them out once every 4 hours to remind your followers not to miss it.
Tec Support ROCKS! Let's face it, service matters. And things do sometimes go wrong with technology. Even if it's only user error, when you can't make it work you need help. With ViralTag there is no searching around for the help department and no figuring out how to submit a ticket. Help is always available from your dashboard with ViralTag's chat feature. Click the button to open it up and you'll see that it works much like Skype chat. Just scroll up to see the conversation to date, as well as who's available to chat or when they were last active.

Every time we have had an issue or a question (which has been only twice) we have gotten a response within 8 hours. For us this is fine. As a rule, I tend to ask questions just as I'm finishing up work for the day and we have always had an answer by the time we get back to work the next day. Even when there was a glitch that needed to be passed on to the programmers for fixing! Not only did they get back to me but had the problem resolved before I got back to work.
Some Things You Should Know About ViralTag…
No Shuffle feature for queue. This is something we really wish they had. We have mentioned it to them and they assure us it is on the list of features they plan to roll out. We'll keep you posted on when it is.
Fixed Schedule Date... This is not really a "drawback" so much as something you need to understand in order to get your items scheduled the way you want them. Once an item is time stamped in your queue the day and time it will be published is carved in stone unless you manually change it, one item at a time. Wrap your mind around this and it becomes a non-issue. You can easily adjust how you add items to your queues to achieve a nice mix.
Deleting Item From Your Queue DOES NOT SHIFT THE REST OF THE ITEMS UP! So if you find you accidentally scheduled a bunch of things in error deleting them will not shift the things you scheduled AFTER you scheduled them up into their time slot.
Again, this isn't really a drawback and is not a problem once you KNOW how the tool works. It's easy enough to go in and manually schedule things for those specific times. But it is something you need to understand to use ViralTag effectively if you make a mistake of epic proportions. But you'd never do that, would you?
